Pertinent Arrival and Dismissal Information

We appreciate your partnership and patience as we begin a new school year! Arrival and dismissal often take a bit longer during the first few weeks as students and families learn our routines. Please plan for extra time early on—we promise things will move more quickly as students grow more independent and we continue to fine-tune our processes.

To ensure the safety of all students during high-traffic times, please note the following important procedures:

Arrival & Dismissal Options

Students may arrive and dismiss from school using one of the following methods:

• Carpool Line

• Bus/Daycare Transportation

For everyone’s safety, walk-ups are not permitted during arrival or dismissal. This means:

Parents may not walk their child up to the building or walk up to pick them up at dismissal.

• Parents must remain in their vehicles in the carpool line.

• Staff will assist students safely in and out of vehicles.

• If there is a unique circumstance, please reach out to your child's teacher to discuss other possible options for safe transfer of your child.

Need to Speak with Someone?

If you need to speak with office staff or your child’s teacher:

• Please call or email to schedule a time.

• Staff cannot leave their assigned arrival/dismissal duties to meet with parents.

• Arrival/dismissal staff are unable to relay messages to teachers during this time.

If your message is urgent or time-sensitive, please call the front office directly. For non-urgent matters, email your child’s teacher, and they will respond as soon as they are able.
